Scholarships & Funding for Online Business Degrees

Ways to pay for an online business degree, and the awards we have verified on official pages (83 so far). A listing never means that every student or program qualifies, and financial aid availability does not make a program “fully funded”.

Funding rules differ by country, fee status and program. Online students are often not eligible for the same government funding as campus students. Confirm eligibility, deadlines and renewal conditions with the school's funding office before relying on any form of aid.

Institutional scholarships

Awards a school funds itself. Eligibility, amounts and renewal rules are set by the school and often depend on program, fee status, nationality, intake or admission date.

Tuition discounts and special rates

Reduced rates for groups such as alumni, early applicants, military members or employees of partner organizations. A discount lowers tuition; it is not a scholarship you apply for separately unless the school says so.

External scholarships

Awards from foundations, governments, professional associations or employers outside the school. We list one only after checking its official page.

Assistantships

Graduate positions that pay a stipend and/or tuition in exchange for work. Many require presence on campus and are rarely open to fully online students — check the conditions.

Employer tuition assistance

Arrangements where an employer pays part of tuition, sometimes through a school partnership. Terms are set by the employer.

Grants

Aid that does not have to be repaid, usually need-based and set by a government or the school. Eligibility depends on the student, the program and the institution's participation.

Loans

Money that must be repaid with interest. Loans are not scholarships and are listed separately.

General financial aid eligibility

Statements by a school about whether students in its online programs can use government student finance (for example US federal aid or UK student finance). Eligibility is never assumed for every program or student.
